Many at this time are speaking out regarding the passing of Cory Monteith, star of tv series “Glee.” As you can go anywhere to find out all the facts and details of how he died and why, from any of the news outlets out there. I would rather share with you just a few words to Cory and his family. I don’t want to speak of his sudden and tragic passing, since I doubt that is what he would have wanted. It has happened and I do not see the point of delving into his personal life to find out how, that is for his family to know if they so decide. We should focus on his life and the legacy he left, don’t you think he would have wanted it that way? Media could be altruistic instead of trying to analyze this story to bits. I for one refuse to jump on that bandwagon! So here are my two cents about Cory…..hope it does him any kind of justice?
Farewell dear man, you touched so many with your talent and light. You were a beautiful person inside and out and it seems, all who knew you loved you. You were open and honest about your battle with addiction and are deeply respected for it. You will be missed more than words can ever express. You will never grow old and will be forever immortalized on-screen for the enjoyment of generations to come. I will not forget the impression you left on me and will share it, with others, until the day that I reach my own end. My deepest condolences to your family and your beautiful and talented leading lady Lea Michelle, I am sure your souls will always share the impression of each other. Though I knew you not, you made everyone feel as if they did, your genuine nature and warm smile drew us all in. Not a hint of pretentiousness exuded from any part of you and your charitable heart was world-renowned. I wish you a sweet and kind farewell Cory Monteith and I wish for you to receive the same from the rest of us. It is my deepest hope that his passing is treated respectfully by everyone and especially the media, for him, maybe it can be done? Goodbye dear one, my warmest, happiest thoughts and prayers to you during the rest of your journey, whatever that may be….
