There is a saying I live by which is, “nothing ventured. nothing gained.” Without great risk there can be no greatness, so on that note, I have accepted a position at Trev Deeley motorcycles! Our local Harley Davidson motorcycle dealership. One of the oldest and most established dealerships in the world. 2017 will mark its 100th year anniversary. When I was a little kid I loved the Fletch movies, a lot. There is a scene where Fletch pretends to be “Ed Harley”, heir to the Harley Davidson fortune, and it is one of my favorite scenes in a film! The fact that this pipsqueek had so much pull with these big burly bikers just because they just love their Harleys so much, was just amazing to me. That is when I knew that it was my dream to work for Harley Davidson motorcycles. I was 8 years old. Back then it wasn’t common for women to ride, I had no idea then how I would ever live my dreams but I held onto them anyway. This has always been the key to my success. No matter how distant or impossible, hang on to your dreams. Keep them safe and let no one tear them asunder. This led me to eventually learn how to ride, on my own bike. Then one day I got the call to work in film, on a bike. That was one of the greatest days of my life. I thought to myself, “self” “you could die today and be alright with it” One small step in the right direction after the other and it is now my extreme pleasure to anounce that I am the newest member of the Harley Davidson team. As I part ways with Honda I look back fondly at my time there and the friends I’ve made along the way. There will always be a place in my heart for Honda but I am over the moon to forge a new path at Harley Davidson. Stay tuned for new stories and interviews as well as some video projects! Happy ridin as the sun is shinin!
